New holistic hot spot, Maven’s Moon Apothecary and Massage Studio, celebrated its grand opening last weekend, Feb. 9, 2019. The once pop-up vendor at local witchy bizarres now offers spiritual spa treatments, all-natural remedies, metaphysical products and an inviting space for good people looking for spiritual growth to gather.

The owner, Megan Dolph, says she has lots in store for the community at Maven’s Moon. A green witch and mother of six, Megan, saw a local need for a unique space to bring people back to their roots.

“I think what’s different about Maven’s Moon is it’s not just a metaphysical store or a massage studio. It is a place for people to come and be family. It’s a place for people to reconnect as families. You can bring your kids and barbeque here. You can go up in the garden. I stand out differently, I would say, from other places because there’s not a place like this. There’s not another place where you can come and have lunch, and have a glass of wine with your girlfriend, and look at stones or come and do a class,” Megan said.

Maven’s Moon has already hit this week off with a Moon Magick class and already has a Full Moon Gathering and terrarium building class upcoming on their calendar. According to a post on the business’ Facebook page, experienced tarot and intuitive reader, Lady Shiya, will also be offering tarot card readings every Wednesday. It is Megan’s hope to have more activities for kids to do as well, like learning about an herb or a stone.

In addition to building a positive, spiritual community, Maven’s Moon brings together several different vendors on its sale floor, all aimed toward spiritual growth in some way. Customers can peruse a selection of crystal jewelry, vintage clothing, herbal remedies, bath salts and the like all in one comfortable space.

As a massage therapist of 17 years and spiritual healer, Megan also boasts offering unique spiritual spa treatments like the sound and smudge treatment in which she uses a sound bowl, tuning fork, big bundle of sage and pendulum to align and balance your chakras.

“That’s a special treatment that I offer. My massage is just completely different overall. It’s more spiritual. I can do the Swedish. I offer deep tissue, but I do a lot of energy work, so you’re being helped not physically only but mentally,” she said about her massages.

As someone who started small and dreamed bigger, Megan emphasizes staying true to yourself and believing that manifestations and dreams do come true, making Maven’s Moon, truly, a spiritually positive place.

 

“When you stay true to yourself, the universe will bless you, and it’ll put things in front of you that will lead you down your path. Don’t ever give up. It’s possible.”
