Hi, I’m Liz, and I’m the face behind Texas Supernatural!

If you’re interested in exploring the mysterious and intriguing paranormal world of Texas, then you’ve come to the right place to learn more about what’s going on in paranormal tourism in this great culturally and historically rich state.

Growing up Catholic and in a traditional Latino family, we followed spiritual traditions of that church and heard heart-thumping stories about the Chupacabra, ghosts, vampires, angels and people who could speak to the dead or see into the future.

The truth is, life beyond what we can see with our own two eyes is a mystery to me— A frightening mystery. The mysteries kept stacking up when I went to college for my undergrad degree. In the small town of Stephenville, curious students looked for excitement in local cemeteries and rumored haunted hotspots.

After doing some research about ghost tours and investigations I could go on in my local area, I found a whole community of people who loved to explore the paranormal. I had no idea that paranormal tourism was a thing and that it existed right here in Texas!

So, I got curious. Why is paranormal tourism seemingly growing? What exactly do people love about it? What are they looking for? What’s out there?

These are questions that I hope to answer here on Texas Supernatural as I continue to explore and write about paranormal tourism as a curiosity, a source of entertainment and as a potentially up-and-coming business.
